“Buying books is like the appeal of the Easter egg hunt, [books aren’t] a very expensive Easter egg, but it’s the shock and surprise and delight,” McMurtry explained.
“It’s not a matter of money, it’s a matter of taste, and what I’ve tried to do in my book town is see that out and see that a healthy level of taste is continued.”
